Cloud note apps (Google Keep, Apple Notes, Notion, Evernote) store your notes on their servers. That means the company can read them, governments can subpoena them, hackers can breach them, and the company can go bankrupt and they disappear.
Fuckittalk™ stores everything in localStorage — a part of your own browser that nothing outside your device can access. No account. No sync. No server. No one.
Changing phones or devices?
1. On your current device: hit Export JSON below — it downloads a file to your device.
2. Move that file to your new device (email it to yourself, AirDrop, USB, whatever).
3. On your new device: open Fuckittalk and hit Import JSON — your notes reappear.
4. That's it. Nobody saw the file. Nobody has a copy. It's yours.
Clearing your browser data?
Export first. Clearing browser data deletes localStorage permanently — we can't recover it because we don't have it. Export regularly if your notes matter to you.
